T.F.O.B & how things work

Now, as many of you readers know, I own my own library that is located in my own room.  If you do not already know this it is called Trunk Full-O-Books (T.F.O.B for short).  Lately I have  been renovating my library.  If you have a membership card the annual fee date is changing to February the 1st.  Just keeping you guys updated.

You may have noticed that beautiful poem a wrote yesterday?  Well, that poem was completely come up with on the spot.  At school we've been studying poetry so we can write a few poems for the annual poetry performance.  My teacher (Dan) encouraged us to try to write a few poems over the weekend, and, as some of you know, I'm sort of a procrastinator when it comes to doing school work so I didn't really want to do it but just before the end of last fridays school day I came up with an idea: How To Build A Poem.  Now that was just the idea for the poem, I didn't really have in mind what the content of the poem was, but when I got home, i immediately went to my mom's computer and wrote the poem.
When my mom and dad read it the were completely in awe. my dad said that the poem I wrote was better than the poems he was writing in college.  I hope my teacher likes it!

Caw!, Caw! (American Crow) A.K.A. Birdwatching

I have recently gotten into birdwatching.  I've already seen a bunch of birds this spring.  I like birdwatching because it is very relaxing.  I love how I hear them singing outside my window. I also like their slender build, and especially how their wings fold up.  Most birds I can identify right away, like the Brown Headed Cowbird, or the American Robin, but their will always some mystery bird that I don't have the time to identify so I let it slide.  I have noticed this bird that has often been flying around in our field that I haven't gotten a good enough look at so I don't know what it is.  I think it lives in tree close to the field.  It's really nagging me.      I have three birding guides.  'The Peterson Field Guide To Birds Of North America', 'Florida birds' (I don't live in Florida, so I don't use this one so much.), and 'Vermont Birds'. The Peterson one has all the birds that hav...

BONE

There is a really cool graphic novel series called Bone .  It's really good.  There are eleven books.  Two of the books aren't exactly in the series, Rose and The Bone Handbook .  They are all done by Jeff Smith.  One of my friend's has met him.  He says Jeff is really nice.  The last Bone  book came out a few years ago.  He is starting to make a new series called Quest For The Spark .  It isn't a graphic novel but a novel.  Jeff Smith is illustrating  it and it's written by Tom Sniegoski.  I've read all the Bone 's and I just got the first Quest For The Spark  book and it's really good. If you like magic and fantasy this is the book for you.   > Bone > Quest For The Spark (:{)
